Unlock Kaede (before awakening)

Highlight Kaede at the character selection screen, then press X(14). As soon as you hear his voice to confirm correct code entry, press A or Y to select him. In the Japanese version, highlight Kaede at the character selection screen, then quickly press X(9), B, X. As soon as you hear his voice, press A or Y.
